I’ve been converting slides, my Dad and Grand pap took. The slides date 1955-1977. Here’s me at age 5 probably in May or June in Meadville, Pennsylvania, about two hours north of Pittsburgh. I’ll be going to kindergarten in the fall.
I went to a Haiku Northwest meeting last night. I read some haiku from August Postcards. Here’s the website to learn more about Haiku Northwest:
The cool thing about August Postcards is it keeps me writing every day.
Julie Inglis painted this picture from my writing website. She and her daughter Katie gave it to me at the end of the school year. When I arrived at school to set up on Tuesday, I hung the picture up. I wrote this poem for August Postcards last year.
I took a picture of it at school, hung up, but I couldn’t download it. So I used a picture I took at home…
Thanks Julie and Katie
