As I’m writing this, I’m awaiting to hear back from two publishers. One is for a middle grade novel and another for a story starter, both under the status of under consideration.
The fun part of submitting is pushing the send button. I take a deep breath and it’s out of my hands, until I hear back.

The snow has turn to rain and slush. I took some pictures and wrote some short poems to go with them.
I posted them here: http://www.roykindelberger.com/my-poems.html I’ll add a few more pictures to the slideshow, maybe some with rain and slush. Wow! The snow still coming down outside, it’s supposed to turn to rain in the next 24 hours. Then it’ll get messy.

My two kids and some neighbors have been sledding and building snow forts. I’ve working on a project that I’d been asked to revise. I’ll post if they like the revisions.
I think right now, I’ll write some poems about the snow. I’ll post some later… An excellent article about poetry readings:

I’ve had something published each year since 2007, so I’m excited. Especially since the non-fiction project didn’t get accepted. I’m still waiting to hear back regarding another project. Some fun poetry events in January:
