Wow,
I’ve been busy writing lately. It’s a fun busy though. I’m working on manuscripts for the education market, as well as working on children’s poems. I’m back to researching for a non-fiction project. I enjoy browsing through the libraries gathering information. I’ve mostly worked on fiction the last three years, so it’s a fun change of pace. Anyway here is my latest story from Super Teacher Worksheets: http://www.superteacherworksheets.com/minibooks/oa-mini-book.pdf Here is the latest in Poetry is Everything: http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=f14ddba94c68d9dacd2109f12&id=b21c9dac53&e=478e68ea5b
I really enjoyed the two readings I went to last week. I look forward to working on Haiku. Another thing I’m working on is balancing my poetry so it’s not too serious and not too silly… Enjoy! I went to the poetry reading at Parkplace Books and met with members of Haiku
Northwest this past week. I enjoyed both but have a lot to learn. I still need to work on my voice, when reading and make sure I’m showing and not telling. Overall, I’ve learned a lot and enjoyed both readings… I'm going to the poetry reading at Parkplace Books tonight. I'm really excited. Enjoy! Here are some local poetry readings in the Seattle area:
