I’ve been converting slides, my Dad and Grand pap took. The slides date 1955-1977. Here’s me at age 5 probably in May or June in Meadville, Pennsylvania, about two hours north of Pittsburgh. I’ll be going to kindergarten in the fall.

I went to a Haiku Northwest meeting last night. I read some haiku from August Postcards. Here’s the website to learn more about Haiku Northwest:

She and her daughter Katie gave it to me at the end of the school year. When I arrived at school to set up on Tuesday, I hung the picture up. I wrote this poem for August Postcards last year.
I took a picture of it at school, hung up, but I couldn’t download it. So I used a picture I took at home… Pretty cool!
