I attended two graduations this week. The first was Juanita High School, where my second class of kindergarten students graduated. They are much bigger and harder to recognize. It was great to see my former students.

The second was the kindergarten promotion, where of course I recognized my students. I’ve had a wonderful 13th year of teaching. I really enjoyed listening to the children sing, watching them pose for pictures, and reacting to the slideshow of their year.

I saw this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, regarding waiting:

“How much of human life is lost in waiting.”

I’ll rethink the waiting game when submitting my writing…

And of course Happy Father's Day!

Here are some events for June in the Seattle area. I probably won't be going to any of these. I'm still busy submitting, and it's the end of the school year.
