meteor shower
on a midnight walk
stops us at a fountain
cascades upwards and down again
there’s always more

http://www.superteacherworksheets.com/reading-comp/4th-a-dragon-for-hailey_POEMS.pdf http://coloradoboulevard.net/blossoming-memories/ It was a fun evening, with great poetry. This Saturday, Redmond is hosting Poets in the Park. It’s an all-day event with readings and activities. There will also be booths with different writers and organizations. I’ll be with Haiku Northwest and also enjoying the other events. It’s a nice family event that encourages writers. Here are a couple of links going into more detail:

It will be this Friday, December, 6th, from 2:00-4:00. The store is closing sometime in January. There are a lot of books available at half the price. If you are in the area, please stop by. The bookstore is located in Country Village in Bothell. A great place to visit this time of year, it has great shops and places to eat.

I’m part of a panel of some extremely great writers, from the Snohomish County area. I really look forward to it. It’s from 2:00-3:00; hope to see some familiar faces.
I’ll be at J.J. Books, for a book signing, in Country Village. I’ll be there from 12:00-2:00, on Saturday, September 6th. They are also having the Koi Festival there at Country Village, as well.
http://www.countryvillagebothell.com/bothell-farmers-market Also I’ll be at the Moonviewing at the Japanese Gardens on Saturday night. I’ll have a chance to read some haiku. I’m pretty excited about Saturday! I feel pretty good about passing 37,000 words for the month of July. I also did some editing as well. My goal was to write at least a 1000 words a day. So my best month of writing ever, we’ll see what I can pull off for August, now back to writing.
