I went to the poetry reading at Parkplace Books last night. It
was a small crowd, so I wish I’d brought more poetry to read, I usually only
read two of my poems. It was a fun and cozy atmosphere. One thing I’m doing
with my poems is taking the Haikus from August Postcards and creating longer
poems or even creating stories with them. I read two of those poems last night.
Over winter break I plan on extending more.
