Today, I went to the Western Washington University Children’s Literature Conference. It’s the fifth time in the nine years of the conference that I attended. It is always great to return to the college I attended.
Wow! What a great experience today was. I listened and watched three awesome authors, with three different approaches to their presentations.
Patrick Carmen combined video along with his books, for middle grade and young adult.
Laura McGee Kvasnosky writes young readers and got the audience really involved with the writing process.
Gary Schimdt’s presentation was without any pictures or videos. Yet he really engaged us with his story telling, that clearly came from his heart.
