Western Washington University Literature Conference

On Saturday, I spent the day with my mom and fellow teacher, Cathy at the Western Washington University Literature Conference. It was the 10th annual conference and it was my 7th. There were three authors and one author/illustrator. Did you ever hear about the gorilla at a mall in Tacoma? The story is brought life with the Newberry winning The One and Only Ivan, by Katherine Applegate. Overall a very fun and inspiring day.
